Feb was an exciting month for us here at YongHao Photography. We were approached by Vertical Green to produce photos for some of their vertical garden projects.

And so we travelled around Singapore visiting their clients house and taking beautiful photos of their premises with the vertical garden as the focus.

Overall the project spanned across slightly less than a week with more than 30 photos delivered.

St Andrew’s Cathedral: Singapore Largest Cathedral

St Andrew’s Cathedral is the largest Anglican cathedral in Singapore, just next to City Hall Mrt, it is easily accessible by taking the MRT, alighting at City Hall Station and exiting by Exit B. You will not missed this majestic building.

It is opened to the public, and you can go into the Nave of the Cathedral to take some photos as long as no lightings are used. Its internal premises opening hours are from 8am – 6pm while the outside compound are opened until about 8-9pm for you to capture a really beautiful blue hour photo of its architecture.

1st Year Anniversary at Fullerton Hotel, Singapore

25th Dec 2011 marks my first year wedding anniversary with my wife. Our wedding and Solemnisation was held previously also in fullerton hotel. So it was of no suprise that we decided to have our first wedding anniversary celebrated there as well. You can read more about our wedding last year here, there are photos and interactive virtual tours inside the post as well.

The room we stayed in was the courtyard room with a king-sized bed.Overall rooms in Fullerton hotel are very spacious.

After we came back from dinner about 6, we were pleasantly suprised, the staffs left us a bottle of red wine, and a plate of chocolates and kueh lapis together with this note. Thank you fullerton!

Another Panoramic Skyline of Singapore CBD

This time it was from Marina Barrage which is the first and only reservoir found in central area of Singapore. Reaching it was slightly tricky, wish Singapore Government can do more to make the public transport and the scenery to it more pleasant for the tourist, since it is considered one of Singapore tourist attractions. Once out from Marina Bay MRT, we passed by a huge cement underpass which is also the side of expressway, then we took bus 400 and alighted at the front of Marina Barage.

No internal photos of Marina Barrage as i was more concerned on finding a good vantage point for the Sunset shot of the Skyline. However i have a virtual tour to show, Click on the image below to launch the virtual tour.

D300s + Tamron 17-50mm @42mm x (DX 1.5)
Nodal Ninja 3 for precise shooting for panoramic
ISO 200, F8, variable shutter speed, Fixed White Balance – it can be at any temperature as long as it is the same throughout all images. Good starting point will be Daylight about 5300k
Merge all exposure using EnfuseGUI
Stitched using PTGUI
Edited in Lightroom
JPEG or Raw: JPEG
