We just got back from a holiday trip to Korea, it was autumn turning winter and the weather was lovely. Although it was grayish throughout the first few days, blue skies broke out in the latter part and the colour contrast against the autumn trees was beautiful.

The problem of being a a full time photographer: You do not wish for your holiday to be similar like your typical work day, preparing your photography equipments and going out to shoot critically. I don’t bring my camera along with me, they are too bulky and heavy for a holiday.
But i do enjoy taking photos, and i enjoy taking photos with my phone, as i do not need to fiddle with the settings. I just need to find a good camera app that gives me good colour grading, i do not need to do any post processing except resizing and watermarking. When i visited Taiwan few years back i took photos with my samsung S2, and i enjoyed the photo taking process very much. I do not need to take into consideration the camera settings, just pure composition decision making. This time i took it with my current Iphone 5s, and it is still so enjoyable.

25th Dec 2011 marks my first year wedding anniversary with my wife. Our wedding and Solemnisation was held previously also in fullerton hotel. So it was of no suprise that we decided to have our first wedding anniversary celebrated there as well. You can read more about our wedding last year here, there are photos and interactive virtual tours inside the post as well.

The room we stayed in was the courtyard room with a king-sized bed.Overall rooms in Fullerton hotel are very spacious.

After we came back from dinner about 6, we were pleasantly suprised, the staffs left us a bottle of red wine, and a plate of  chocolates and kueh lapis together with this note. Thank you fullerton!
